1. The first decision in setting up a business is to take the first step
This mantra is what defines Maria. When she decides to do something, she just goes for it. This is how she became a celebrity entrepreneur with a lot on her plate.
Fear and worry do not bring success, so does analysis paralysis. Sometimes, all we need is to just jump. Do not ask how high, just jump. After overcoming the first obstacle, you can breathe easy because the hard part is over.
2. Put grit and vigor into everything you do, and you will succeed
Effort is the enemy of laziness. This is why we call it passion when we perform the activities we like to do. Having enthusiasm in whatever we are working on means we are happy and that we are in a good headspace.
You do not need to finish a task or achieve a goal in one day. Just do what you can and let momentum give you the follow through and the finishing kick.
3. The first five years of your business are crucial – learn from them
If there is one thought to take away from here is that there is no such thing as an overnight success in business. Years passed before QR code technology became mainstream.
It took time before Steve Jobs became a millionaire. Same with Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
All Maria is saying is, learn from your mistakes and grow due to them.
